Alien Rescue

We are beginning a project within our Solar System Unit.  During this unit we will be using software provided by UT.  The project is called Alien Rescue.  Each student will be assigned an alien and expected to find the alien a home that would be most compatible with his living requirements.  This is a great way to learn about our planets and their characteristics.  It is a self-paced problem-solving unit.  Students are expected to monitor their progress and school work.   Students will get a major lab grade on the individual packet, a major project grade on the group packet, and daily grades on blog posts.
